WVGV's  focus is to encourage you to have a meaningful relationship with Christ! When you give, you are funding the ministry of WVGV for you as well as having an impact on others!

Things to know about WVGV:

  • WVGV is a non-comercial, non-profit radio station.
  • Our purpose is to be true to the scriptures and bring glory to God.
  • We do not charge pastors to broadcast on WVGV but we do ask each broadcaster to consider supporting WVGV as a home missionary outreach project.
  • All gifts are tax deductible.
  • There are four ways we fund this station:
    • Listener Support (through our spring and fall share-a-thon's)
    • Missionary Support (by our broadcasters)
    • Broadcast Support.
    • Underwriter Contributions (through special promotions and advertising)

I am totally blind and I have to tell you, I love your station! May the risen Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless you!

So what does my monthly support pay for?

  • Keeping the station on the air - Programming, business expenses, maintenance, publishing and streaming fees, etc.
  • Music - While playing music on the radio sounds simple it's actually quite costly due to publishing rights, royalties, streaming fees, etc.
  • Christ-centered, clean entertainment for you and your family.  WVGV is giving you an alternative to all that other stuff.
  • News from a Christian point of view.  On WVGV, you’ll always know what’s going on, AND we’ll also tell you what’s going right!
  • Spiritual elements that keep you focused on God and help you grow spiritually.
  • Staff Members - We have 5+ part time staff members. These are not volunteer staff members… they are paid staff members.
  • Expansion - It is the hope of WVGV to continue to grow to reach more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to grow in coverage area as well as coverage quality.
  • A Refuge - For the single mom who is struggling to make ends meet, for the person thinking about taking their life, for the family in deep financial debt, someone who needs to hear from God and the right song comes on …  WVGV is a refuge from the stresses of life.

 Our various ways of giving:

    • Popular reasons to sponsor a day of broadcasting include:
      • Holidays, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Veterans Day

    • A Gospel Club offering covers almost 3 days of the listener portion of the budget.
    • Things to remember about giving:
      • We are to just simply do what the Lord lays upon our hearts.
        • II Corinthians 9:7 “Every man according as he [God] purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.”
      • The Lord measures our gifts not by the amount but by the sacrifice.
        • Luke 21:2 “And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. (3) And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: (4) For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury [extreme poverty] hath cast in all the living that she had.”
      • If the Lord lays upon your heart to give a $10.00 or a $500.00 love offering remember, it is more blessed to give than to receive.

        • Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
      • The Lord wants our offerings to reflect our faith in Him and bring Him glory.
        • II Corinthians 9:12 "For administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;”
      • Material things will one day pass away but God gives us the opportunity to lay treasures in Heaven while living here on the earth.
        • Matthew 6:19 “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rest doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: (20) But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: (21) For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
  • Builders Club
    • This giving plan is for an individual or a business that wants to sponsor a specific project.
    • We are doing everything we can to maintain our broadcast schedule and reach more listeners.
    • Unfortunately, some of what we hope to achieve requires more than our operating budget allows, so special funding is required.
    • Call the office to inquire about specific current projects.
